After pickup from your Buenos Aires hotel in the morning, board your vehicle for the 35-mile (55-km) drive to the Temaiken Zoo. Stroll through this family-friendly oasis of tree-shaded, meandering paths as you make your way from Asia to Africa to South America. Your guide will lead you through this large property while you learn about the animals, their histories, habitats and characteristics. Wander among the animals in the farm section of the zoo, including gregarious goats, curious sheep and gentle cows. Get a chance to feed some of the animals that move freely around the farm area. See penguins, hippos, sharks, alligators and rays in the aquatic areas of the park. Perhaps bring or purchase a picnic lunch to enjoy under one of the many shady trees in this verdant park. Your zoological adventure ends with the short ride back to Buenos Aires and drop-off at your hotel.
